- I Saw the movie Mulholland drive on
HBO last night , it took me back to 1957 in Hollywood when I
was 25 twenty five years old, I had picked up a model at Jerry
Bermans model agency on Sunset Blvd. in my new 1957 red Thunderbird
and headed up Mulholland drive to a house I had rented to use
as a studio , it was owned by a minor movie Starlet......I had
my lights set up and had shot a couple of cans of 16mm film with
my Bolex camera on a pretty Marilyn Monroe type model in the
nude, when there was a knock at the door, it was a couple of
Hollywood vice Cops( just like the movie L.A. confidential)........they

me.....one sat me in a chair, while the other , a Bud White type

law to show beaver, and the models were all shaved clean, but

so I would go down to Max Factor of Hollywood and buy make-up
